High Range Water Reducing Concrete Admixture

ISOFLEX 351 is a Super plasticizer which allow mixing water to be reduced considerably and concrete strength to be enhanced significantly particularly at early ages.

Advantages

Major increases in strength at early ages without increased cement contents are of particular benefit in precast concrete, allowing earlier stripping times.
Makes possible major reductions in water: cement ratio which allows the production of high strength concrete without excessive cement contents.
Using it in the production of flowing concrete permits easier construction with quicker placing and compaction and reduced labor costs without increasing water content.
Improved cohesion and particle dispersion.

Density (at 23ºC): 1.185 ± 0.005 kg/L

Application Dispensing

The correct quantity of ISOFLEX 351 should be measured by means of a recommended dispenser. The admixture should then be added to the concrete with the mixing water to obtain the best results. Never add to dry cement. ISOFLEX 351 is usefully used for re-dosing on site according to ACI 212 4R.

Dosage

Optimum dosage is normally dispensed at the rate from 0.8% to 3.0% of cement weight. ISOFLEX 351 is compatible with all types of Portland cement including SRC.

Effects of Overdosing

An overdose of double the intended amount of ISOFLEX 351 will result in:

Retardation in setting, slight air-entrainment increase and high flow ability.

Health and Safety Instructions

ISOFLEX 351 does not fall under the hazardous classifications of admixture. However, it should not be swallowed or get into contact with eyes and skin. Suitable protective gloves and goggles should be worn. Splashes on the skin should be removed with water. In case of contact with eyes, it shall be rinsed with plenty of water and medical advice sought immediately. If swallowed, medical attention shall be sought immediately. ISOFLEX 351 is water based and non-flammable.
